Under fir, perhaps with spruce around too. Flavor like radish. Odor complex, musky, like radish.

Flesh turning brown after being exposed to the air, see photo of a fresh break and one that is 2 days old.

All parts turning green in KOH, cap so dark green it looks black.

Spore print tan.
