Id probable mais non complètement sûre.

Bambou de grande taille, chaumes épais, portant des anneaux de pruine blanche sous les noeuds, glabres.
Gaines vers 2m de hauteur (photos) : maculées de sombre, nettement poilues dans la partie haute de la gaine, glabre dans la partie basse. Limbe réfléchi, présence d'oreillettes et de soies. Ligule convexe, assez grande.

Culm sheath glabrous, without auricle nor oral setae.
Ligule less than 5× as wide as high, with no or short unconspicuous hairs (at least on a soon to fall sheath).
Blade rather flat, reflexed, bicolored : pale yellow-orange at margins, with a green stripe in the middle.
No minute hole nor cristal were observed with a 10× lens.

Culm sheath spotted, hairless, no auricle nor oral setae, ligula flat, with long hairs, blade long, reflexed, light yellow-orange with a central green stripe, somewhat crinkled.

Adult culm about 4 to 6 m high, with no minute hole nor crystaline spots visible under a 10x lens, some with shortened, irregular basal internodes.
