Scattered plants in bud along gumland tracks. Only flower noted.
Grafton, Auckland.
Grafton Gully at Symonds Street Cemetery.
On a moss and liverwort covered tree trunk, in mixed native/exotic bush.
Locally common on lake margin in sites that would be subjected to frequent inundation. growing with Trithuria inconspicua (uncommon), Centrolepis strigosa (locally abundant), Myriophyllum pedunculatum subsp. novae-zelandiae, Vellerophyton dealbatum, Isolepis spp., and Gameocheta spp.
Occasional - seen only as seedlings growing on damp shaded ledges above river gorge. You will have to believe me that this is Rorippa divaricata as I saw no flowering or fruiting material (but I know this species very well from northern New Zealand offshore islands and other places - see https://inaturalist.nz/observations/2584497 and https://inaturalist.nz/observations/1349069 for flowering and fruiting specimens I have observed elsewhere in New Zealand.
