2 individuals involved in a little drama

Never saw this aspect before in a live insect-- a lucky fluke.

Spores 10 X 4.5-5µm.

There were 5 or 6 of these, sometimes feeding, at other times creeping around inside the bush for some reason. I believe that manzanita is a possible host...

On Big Leaf Maple branch.
Spores 11.5-13 X 9.5-10 µm.
The clear ones had me confused, but they have lost their color from all the rains. I scoped the clear one in the 2nd photo.
