Description
Wombat Vombatus ursinus, Maria Island, Tasmania, April 2015. A lucky shot - I was actually photographing Cape Barren geese at the time, sheltering behind a log and facing the other way, as these wombats emerged from their burrow for an evening stroll and graze. In any case, wombats don't have great eyesight, so as long as I didn't make any rapid movements, they seemed unable to discern me from the log.

This coppery titi monkey (Callicebus cupreusmysteriously) appeared when breakfast was served. He must have felt guilty as he avoided looking me in the eye for most of the photo session, but became focused when I pulled out my bag of fruit. They are found in the the western Amazon (Peru, Brazil, and maybe northern Bolivia). They are listed as least concern by the IUCN. Visit markshepherdjournal.com.

An eastern grey squirrel with a very rare but naturally occuring genetic mutation that gives it a white coat. This particular mutation is actually NOT albinism as the squirrel has dark eyes as opposed to red.
