Description
There is a distinct groove in the rhinophores, unlike the extremely similar Panderevela ipse. Additionally, the rhinophore shape is distinctly different, and the eyes are between the rhinophores, instead of behind. Found on Avrainviella, the usual habitat and food source for Costasiella nonatoi.

A very special find, considered rare in Bermuda according to Wolfgang Sterrer’s ‘Marine Flora and Fauna of Bermuda.’ Approximately 7 inches long, so likely an adult. Observed at night crawling across the reef.
