Common Green Darner
Anax junius
&
Roseate Skimmer
Orthemis ferruginea
Stuck in mud. Probably the darner had captured the skimmer, but during their struggle they ended up in the soft mud, where they were stuck. The darner was still alive and as best we could tell was still feeding on the skimmer, despite these almost certain fatal circumstances for both.
