Description
A single lone and unusual (to me) yellow flowering plant in mid-April. This looks more like a later Summer flower. The leaves are distinctive too.
The flowers radiate out to a spherical shape from a point, and the leaves are sort of lettuce shaped. Found in a Maple Oak Allegheny Plateau Woodland, on a roadside slope.
