This parasitic creature was an unusual sight for myself and the entire hiking group. We were bewildered by the sight of a moving, living creature with the appearance of a thick black string of yarn! This discovery had me in particular awe! The floating critter was found in the cool rapids of Millard Creek in the shadows of the Riparian Forest.
