Description
On exposed margins of the trail, gritty/rocky serpentine with other tiny annuals, A. glauca surrounds the area tho and provides some cover
~ a couple dozen individuals here, didn't try looking for them particularly hard since I wasn't too sure what they were at the time. Had it in my head they might be Venus's looking glass

Description
Crepis nana is a species of subalpine to alpine talus slopes sporadically distributed throughout western North America. This population towards the base of Cougar Peak, Jarbidge Mountains, was the only one encountered.

I saw pictures of something similar labeled Hemerotrecha, but I’m not sure if that’s what this one is. It may not even be Eremobatidae, but I’m new to these, so help with ID is appreciated.

In a leather oak tree, about head level (explains the side shot). The diamond decals on the wing tips are pretty cool.
