Via snorkel* in clear shallows of briskly flowing creek near the beach in a popular swimming hole known as Mason's Swimpool' or 'Mason's Hole' (*strictly what I term a 'swalkel', as I left my fins on the bank but kept my wetsuit booties on to give some protection from fish hooks, other sharp objects and also living hazards such as mosquitoes, tree roots and catfish; and being aware that shark shields- now rebadged as ocean guardians - are not recommended for use in freshwater nor against salties, I left that at home!)
NOTE: Image is already known to @markmcgrouther via ausmus' Find a Fish site but I've forgotten correct taxonomy which I got through Mark's link with an expert on 'sleepy cods and snakehead gudgeons'(?)...[??was it brownback snake-gudgeon??...]
