Description
This ID is for the males (top-most and bottom-most individuals). See separate ID for the female, which, oddly appears to be a different species (Thanks to @jimjohnson for the species IDs)

Description
Both whitetails are very rare in Orange County based on what i've seen. This appeared rather small. 2nd photo shows the clearer areas in the middle of the black areas on the wings, but it doesn't have quite as much white on the wings as most Desert i'm seeing in photos, however its more than most common. 3rd photo shows habitat it was at, not typical pond area a Common Whitetail is found at.
