Description
Found on a glass door at the Holiday Inn in Asheville (Buncombe County); I don't think the image and observation have enough info to identify to species.

Description
2 to three flashes a second or two apart from each other and then a long pause, nearly 10 seconds or over, in between the next set of flashes, possibly due to the high winds and cool temperatures. About half the size of synchronous with very thick well defined elytral borders and unlike synchronous had a pale final abdomen segment. In a small clearing in moist thick woods flashing a little after sunset but still not in true darkness. Photos where taken of a captured individual the next day that was released after the photos where acquired. If anyone thinks this ID is incorrect feel free to let me know but P.macdermotti matched up extremely well to the appearance of the individuals captured and pretty well to the flash pattern although it was a little off but the high wind and cool temps might have effected this. It is possible these could be consanguinesus or greeni but I think we are not within range of these species

Description
One flash and another 2-3 seconds later and then another pair 6 seconds later. seems a bit off for macdermotti but is within expected variation I believe and matches up more closely with this sp then others in the "conasngunieus species complex" Electra had thick well defined borders and as seen here it has a pale final abdomen segment. Flying/flashing a little before sunset and photos taken the next day.

Description
one flash another 3 seconds later and another set repeated 8 seconds after that. Dfanatly a "paired flasher" but the much longer pireods between the flashing and the different area I found them in compared to the presumed macdermott makes me think these may be a different species. Photos of this individual where taken the next day
