Sat/laid in between two sheds for entire day, then left at night.

Killed by a Mini Cooper ... previously printed in the Tribune. I was first on scene, and got a nice tick embedded in my thigh for my efforts, which I found the next morning. We need more wildlife bridges.
This one’s back plumes are red-orange and extend past the tail. allaboutbirds.org explains that those plumes “at times are stained buffy or brownish.” The last three images show it eating a fish it caught.
