Description
Found two live Sonorella eremita at White Hill, southwest of Tucson. This is the type locality for the species, and no other Sonorella species reside here. This population was genetically verified in the Weaver et al 2010 study.

Description
Observed on a talus slope under a rock on leaf litter (last image shows where snail was found). Found in the vacinity of the Pine Tree Trail at Aguirre Springs, but talus slope was about 200 meters off the trail. Thin, partially transparent shell with black line following helix. Believed to be Organ Mountain Talussnail, but few images exist of living organisms to use for comparison. Any help with ID is greatly appreciated!

Description
Snake first spied near the state line, in middle of the Colorado River swimming against current. It worked its way over toward the beach I was sitting on and laid there in the sun for awhile (see marker on map) before moving slowly off. Eyes looked slightly glazed, like it might shed soon. I estimate 4 to 4.5 feet long.
