Small colony of 20 with minimal changes over 9 days of observation. Elongated sporotheca.
Several small colonies on low side of small log on wet weedy/grassy ground, amongst moss. Showing various stages of maturity.
Single specimen attached to the branch of an oak tree on the edge of Eucalypt woodland, Macedon Ranges, VIC. Although barely known in Aus, it bears a strong resemblance to images of this species online, and ID has been provisionally 'confirmed' on the FB Slime Mould ID Group.
Growing on dead elm tree on very damp day
There were profuse swathes of fruits in and along the dry creek bed
I observed this specimen on top of a very small tree stump. It is light pink in color and there are a few small scattered pieces laying near it as can be seen on the surface. It appears to be some kind of eggs or a type of fungi. I returned 2 days later to review it and it was no longer there. After closer examination on another return I found that there were some remaining pieces which appear to be small egg like pieces possibly from a toad or some large insect. I took another picture of the tree stump and remains which can be observed by sliding the picture
