Growing from moss on grassy, mossy mound with young forbs growing on forest edge next to road
Very thin and fragile almost translucent white clubs

Description

San Vicente Redwoods- Mixed hardwood/conifer forest that burned in the 2020 CZU fire
Growing from a burned piece of wood under Quercus agrifolia, Arbutus menziesii and Pseudotsuga menziesii. Found on the side of the forest that burned at low intensity in the 2020 CZU due to cultural fire
Pink to purple to brownish Ascomycete. Exciple distinctly lighter in coloration and ornamented. Shape circular to lobed and irregular to quite flat

Description

Found in my personal garden
Growing on dead, woody twigs of Malva assurgentiflora
Minute cups with a textured, greyish hymenophore, outer excipulum covered in dense white hairs. Many of the sporocarps have internal growth giving them a donut-like appearance

Growing on a dead Ilex aquifolium leaf under a young Ilex aquifolium in a forest transition ecotone between Sequoia sempervirens and Umbellularia californica dominant to deciduous Quercus dominant
Globular, irregular black dots on surface of leaf. Some seem to be "outlined" with a white ring

Growing on the seed pods spines of planted Castanea dentata found on the ground in orchard at edge of forest
Stipitate Ascomycetes with orange hymenophore and a brown stipe, becoming darker brown near the base. Goblet shaped when young becoming flattened in age

Growing out of a thick blanket of Hypnum circinale and other mosses on large, old nurse log near side of road
Pileus white to cream to light brown in color, bell shaped, strongly hygrophanous, striate. Lamellae narrowly attached to free, white when young becoming more brown in age. Stipe thin, fragile, translucent

Growing on a charred Pinus log near snow
Brown, lobed, folded hymenophore with smooth, white exterior, pseudo-stipitate, firmly adhered to substrate

Description

Salt Point State Park, near Central Trail. Mixed confier/hardwood coastal forest; Sequoia sempervirens, Abies grandis, Pseudotsuga menziesii, Notholithocarpus densiflorus, Pinus muricata, Arbutus menziesii
Growing on a well rotted and de-barked Notholithocarpus densiflorus
Tiny, pea sized orange pleurotoid fungus. Laterally attached stipe with distantly spaced, subdecurrent lamellae. Pileus striate, so thin you can almost see through it. Reduced stipe covered in tiny white hairs.
No noticeable smell, taste mild

Beige, slightly tomentose pileus with tufts of white tissue decorating margin. Equal, fibrous, white stipe. Narrowly attached to notched lamellae, white when young becoming mottled brown in age
Smell a little radishy
Taste slightly sweet
KOH mildly orange brown
Lamellae fluorescing dull green

Reflexed polypore with white hymenophore and surface speckled in brown. Tissue tough, dense, leathery
Taste extremely bitter/acidic
Smell indistinct
Slightly yellow KOH in white light
Whole sporocarp fluorescing blue/yellow/pinkish. KOH turning bright yellow

Growing on bark layer of in-tact but fallen Pinus sabiniana. Seems to be radially growing from little holes in the bark/cambium layers (insect?)
Zonate, resupinate, with fleshy folds throughout. Growing in concentric zones of color starting from deep red to orange, and white near the slightly tomentose margin. One fruit body slightly reflexed
Smell indistinct
Orange brown KOH in white light, fruit body orange under UV, KOH streak turning blue
