Description
A vegetação inclui Helicônias, Samambaias, Palmeiras e Taquaras.

An amazing glass squid. When I disturbed it it would tuck in its tentacles and eyes, and even its fins and show big spots. So cool. The area around the brain was brightly iridescent. There are very faint long tubercles around the mantle if that helps with species id.
Really hard to get nice shots with a compact camera sadly.

This individual was found road-killed. Following the criteria proposed by Borteiro et al. (2021), we classify this specimen of L. muta as presenting the ‘amelanistic’ condition.
A note was published reporting the case, "First report of amelanism in the Bushmaster, Lachesis muta (Linnaeus, 1766) (Squamata: Viperidae)", link: https://www.biotaxa.org/hn/article/view/79568 .
