never saw the operculum of a lewis moon snail
This beautiful golden moonsnail may be Euspira aka Neverita lewisii (Lewis's Moonsnail). I liked the two antennae. It didn't have as huge and inflated body as others I've seen, and the golden color (instead of rather gray) made me wonder if it's a different species? It was <3" across. The second photo shows the operculum.
