I am so excited about this find!!
Last night on our night dive, we found a mantis shrimp!!
Devon, England, UK.
About 12cm long.
7m depth.
I've got a book that says there are a couple of species within Europe, but it specifically says Mediterranean not up near the UK. Can anyone help with ID please?

It's taken hundreds of UK dives to see one of these in England! The first time I have seen one. I was surprised as I thought they were here over the summer months only, maybe they're still here as the water temperature is still warm (for here anyway!)
Shame about the back scatter!
On 14th October 2017, I did another dive and the triggerfish was still there. I think it's the same one as in exactly the same place by the same rock.
