Found in riparian area along La Jolla Creek in Pt. Mugu State Park. Lizard appeared similar in size and shape to a Western Fence Lizard, or a Spiny Lizard, but had no markings on back, and was golden in color. The belly area appeared to be whiteish, with small circular markings.
Eastern edge of the Sespe in the Agua Blanca Creek.
In 'vernal pool.' (Not sure what to call it, more like a wide channel). Signage about the species was 300 yards away.
Note gold markings starting to develop.
