A pair, found in a wet area of sedges at the edge of a meadow.
Thanks for the ID. I thought it was a drone Western Honey Bee, but wasn’t sure. It was lethargic and docile on hot asphalt near a patch of Asclepius syriaca, and remained docile when I picked it up and placed it on a leaf.
