Massive patch of very dense elm (using google maps, the extent seems to be about 2000sqm) suckering profusely, and obviously spreading fast, judging by the vigorous suckers sprouting metres from the main edge of the plant. Not sure of species
On a warm, sunny day, the paper wasps were already active in the garden around the Budlleia bushes, along with Monarch butterflies and bumblebee.
Wattle Bay Reserve. A group of empty "papery packets", each with an opening at one end, firmly attached to wood under the bark of a pine log.
