Beach slakkie

Round, flattish shell, sizes ranging from tiny to smallish (max about 15mm diameter). The shells are very common on beaches around here, inactive snails widespread on dune vegetation, I^ve never seen an active one.

Leaf snail ( Ks-1 )

Introduced prior to 1881. Spire low, shell wider than higher, 4-5 whorls. Colour dirty white, usually with numerous, uneven dark brown spiral lines; but some specimens uniformly pale. Inner lip tinged with pink.
