No doubt of identification; that long tail is pretty distinctive. I also saw the whole bird in flight before it landed in this bushy wattle tree; and saw it again when it flew from that tree to another (which concealed it completely). I just could NOT get a clear line of sight...

Arriving pretty much on time: the spring equinox is tomorrow 22nd September. It was being scolded by noisy miners and rainbow lorikeets.
