This was a small cell captured using the compound microscopy at a TM of 100x. It was a light brown with one flagella that whipped side to side. It swayed in motion but didn’t move too fast. The body was in a slender oval shape and had some green structures. This was captured from a creek.
Bycatch in the vain use of tape traps on a dying maple. Not one spotted lanternfly on the stuff, of course.
