Description

Got to South Pointe around 4PM for a little bit of shelling during the low tide but was especially hoping to see some species that have been widely reported up the coast: violet sea snail, by-the-wind-sailor & blistered saucer leaf-alga. I was also hoping for ram's horn squid but struck out on that one. Only found one violet sea snail, a few desiccated by-the-wind-sailors and plenty of the blistered saucer leaf-alga.

All of my observations from Miami Beach today:https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?on=2024-02-12&order=asc&order_by=observed_on&place_id=any&subview=table&user_id=joemdo
