If I seen that kind of knotting on a substrate casing I'd think they were primordia, but I have no clue about these. Beautiful blue to them.

Growing abundantly in mulch along the side of a road near Pinus strobus, Pinus sp., Thuja occidentalis, Picea sp., Abies balsamea and Acer sp. Some basidiocarps caespitose. Caps hygrophanous with gelatinous pellicles and translucent-striate margins; 5.6 to 21.5 mm wide and 1.9 to 5.7 mm tall. Gills adnexed. Stems 13.4 to 23.5 mm long and 1.1 to 3.7 mm wide. Basal mycelium white. All surfaces bruising strongly blue. Odor not distinctive. Taste slightly nutty. Spore print purple-brown. Pleurocystidia absent. Cheilocystidia forming a sterile margin. Basidia 4-sterigmate. Spores smooth. Spore measurements: (6.7) 7.1 – 8.5 (9.7) × (3.7) 3.9 – 4.7 (5.1) µm; Q = (1.7) 1.71 – 2 (2.1); N = 30; Me = 7.9 × 4.3 µm; Qe = 1.9
