Although possibly naturally-occurring, I suspect this clump of R. fulgida is either a garden escape, or it was planted when the Conservation Authority put in the boat launch or was maintaining it and/or the habitat around it.

• calyx lobes are not keeled
• margins of calyx lobes, and of the leaves, are minutely denticulate , not ciliate
• corolla appendages appear to be wide triangular

The upper leaves are not very linear, are lanceolate, however, the lower leaves approach being linear.
