Sabourin, et al (2002) stated A. patricia is the most similar species but is a orange-brown color instead of the buff color in A. baloghi.
From MPG – A. baloghi typically has comparatively thicker median fascia than A. seriatana, an outwardly angled inner fascia with coastal half indiscernible encloses a basal costal patch of same color.
