Cap 6 cm; convex, mostly dry; with fibrils pale grayish brown, and margin decorated with white partial veil remnants. Gills- notched; close; with short-gills; white to creamy almost pink color. Stipe 4-5 cm, dense, firm, covered in thick fluffy whitish-cream colored shagginess, but no flocking at the very apex of the stipe. Flesh is white. Growing under mixed conifers, alone. Over 10,600'
