Found under a log in the forest. Individual appeared alone under the log, and did not move.
Identified as an Ensatina due to its coloration and obvious constriction of the tail at its base. Identified as an adult due to darker coloration, and as a female due to its "chunkier" rather than slender appearance (based on californiaherps.com information).
