Lover of all living things with a special spot for scarabs. Interested in the evolution and ecology of scarab mating systems and weaponry. Recently finished my MS at Wichita State University studying phenotypic plasticity in Onthophagus dung beetles. Currently working as an intern at Academia Sinica in Taiwan using genomic data to study speciation in the hercules beetrles (Dynastes). I will begin a PhD in the fall at the University of Montana studying weapons evolution in Dynastine beetles.
