My name is Carol Page and I was introduced to our fast disappearing flora and fauna world far too late in life.

I started with an interest in birds, moved along to botany, became interested in intertidal marine creatures and entomology.

I am a hospital trained Nurse spending all of my nursing career in the operating theatre as a scrub nurse then as an Anaesthetic Nurse for the final 25 years, retiring in my early seventies.

I am a member of the Entomological Society of Victoria.

I was diagnosed with macular degeneration, wet and dry, early in 2015. now end of July 2024.
My sight therefore has it's limitations so I'm using this as part of the excuse for my numerous ID errors.
