Hello! I will use this journal to keep track of the observations I am most proud of. They may be the first in an area or uncommonly seen there, iNat firsts, species I have a special interest in, or ones that I was able to get very high-quality photographs of. I considered making a list, but those are only for species and not specific observations, so I'll do it here. This makes it easier for me to find them again and keep track of some of my achievements. This will be updated when I make more of them so be sure to check back sometime! Thank you for stopping by.

Similar moth spotted recently at the same location, possibly the same species or even individual?
Fasciated! I think I'll be keeping this one.
Either a virus or insect damage on what I suspect is Japanese Knotweed
This is for the red spot which I believe is a mite. It's on a Red Twin-Spot Carpet Moth.
This observation is for the moth but could anyone please suggest a possible cause for the wing deformity as well? :)

Very nice collection! Wish I knew more of the Lepidoptera. Perhaps one day I venture down that road.
@williamwisephoto Oh thank you! I highly recommend it, it's been very rewarding! They aren't exactly difficult to find either, just take a look around any light at night or most flower patches and you're sure to find at least a few. Definitely give it a try sometime, they're wonderful creatures :)
