Noctua bubo Hübner,1832 is an invalid name, as it is junior primary homonym of Noctua bubo Fabricius,1775 (see Homonymy Rules of the ICZN). Therefore, we propose here a new species, Avatha leksawasdi sp.n
not going to commit this one until the homonymy is correctly resolved.
